ANNIVERSARY EXHIBITION
»DIRECTOR’S CHOICE«
The Altes Rathaus Gallery is hosting an exhibition of photographic works from the festival years 2016 to 2023. The exhibition is intended as a retrospective of a decade of RAW and showcases defining moments from the festival’s history. The aim is to highlight how many outstanding photographers have found their way to Worpswede and, at the same time, how artistic approaches and themes have evolved over the years.

‘SIGNS OF CHANGE’
The open-air exhibition “Signs of Change” at Marcusheide offers a glimpse into the present and the future. Eight international artistic projects explore the themes of climate change and sustainability. In doing so, RAW remains true to its commitment to addressing current social developments and reflecting on them through photography.

PHOTO BOOK EXHIBITION
‘PHOTOGRAPHIC ART TO BROWSE THROUGH’
In the exhibition ‘Fotokunst zum Blättern’, we are presenting, in collaboration with the PhotoBookMuseum in Cologne, the best photobooks from the PhotoBook Dummy Award from 2016 to 2026.
The PhotoBook Dummy Award is the most prestigious international competition for the best unpublished photobook dummies of the year. Known as the Kassel Dummy Award until 2022, the PhotoBookMuseum in Cologne has been responsible for this major competition since 2023.
